WattBike testing is a great way to establish your training zones to tailor your cycling training specifically for you. Here at PDQ Cycle Coaching we provide this service as part of our coaching packages, or as a stand alone test. The stand alone test allows riders to find out their individual training zones and, with some advice from us, how to use them in their own devised training plans. You will receive a document with your training zones, emailed to you, and some advise on how to train to these zones.
The test will involve a 20 minute effort on our WattBike at our South Bristol Head quarters. Your sprint capacity will also be measured. You can bring your own pedals to use, but we do have a selection available including Shimano, Look and SPD. But please check beforehand whether we have the pedals you need.
What to bring with you to your test:
- Cycling Shoes
- Garmin or other training device to record their training for their own purposes
- Heart rate strap
- Change of clothes after, if required
- We have toilets available to use
