Circuit Races at Odd Down Cycle Circuit

PDQ Odd Down Summer Series 2021

The next PDQ Odd Down Races are are on 18th September 2021 at Odd Down Cycle Circuit in Bath, BA2 2PR.

Race Programme:

  • 13:30 – 4th Category only – 35 minutes
  • 14.20 – 3rd Category only – 35 minutes
  • 15:10 – E/1/2 Women – 35 minutes
  • 15:11 – 3/4 Women – 30 minutes
  • 16:00 – 3/4 Masters (40yrs+) – 35 minutes
  • 16:50 – E/1/2 Masters (40yrs+) – 35 minutes

* All race durations and start times are subject to change due to factors including light and weather conditions, as well as the progression of other events in the program.

Entry fee via the British Cycling online entry system for all races is £13. The Day Entry fee will be £18. Online Entry will close the day before the event at midnight. Places in all races are available on a first come-first served basis and there is no guarantee of the availability of Day Entries.  (Any riders who have a provisional race licence will be charged the day licence fee on top when they enter the event totaling £18) Prizes on the day to top 3 riders in each race:   1st: £30 2nd: £15 3rd: £10  

To practice on the circuit for the races, you are more than welcome to come to our training sessions at Odd Down Cycle Circuit.

Open CTT Time Trials and Hill Climbs

We always look to host two open 10 mile Time Trials each year and will be looking to put on a local monthly club time trial.

Our Hill Climb is being held at 9am on 26th September on the UH92, Chew Hill in Chew Magna near Bristol. Sign on will take place at Stanton Drew Village hall (Sandy Ln, Stanton Drew, Bristol BS39 4EL). From there it is a short ride to the bottom of Chew Hill (approximately 8-10 minutes)


PDQ Odd Down Race Series 2021

2021 PDQ Odd Down Races Series: A 4-week series of Closed Circuit Racing this summer on Thursday evenings for 3rd & 4th category and Master riders. This is being held on the purpose built 1.5km road circuit at the Odd Down Sports Ground, Bath, BA2 2PR.

Dates of the series are as follows:

Week 1 – 15/07/21 (3/4 cat, Masters C+ Men, Masters Women 30 yrs+)
Week 2 – 29/07/21 (3/4 cat, Masters C+ Men, Masters Women 30 yrs+)
Week 3 – 12/08/21 (3/4 cat, Masters C+ Men, Masters Women 30 yrs+)
Week 4 – 26/08/21 (3/4 cat, Masters C+ Men, Masters Women 30 yrs+)

The circuit will be open at 6.15pm for familiarisation of the circuit.

Race Program: 


18:30 – 3/4 Category Riders – (40 mins)

19:20 – Masters C+ – (40 mins)

20:10 – Master Women 30yrs+ (40 mins)

Prize money will be awarded based on overall position in the series after 4 rounds. All rounds will count towards a rider’s score. No on the night prizes for the individual races, there are series prizes only. Prizes will be awarded as follows:
