Performing well in a bike race and being in with a chance of getting on the podium or even winning is more about skill, bike handling and race craft than it is all about fitness. Many cyclists focus purely on their cardiovascular fitness and ignore the crucial skills that are needed to win a bike race. During these road cycling training sessions we aim to develop those skills that will equip you to be able to conserve energy throughout the race through good technique, skills, bike handling and race craft that will mean that you have energy in reserve to deliver a sprint for the win or break away move to win the race.
